Where can I view more information about a product?

A short summary of information is displayed about a product in the search results page and also on the browsing pages. Depending on your viewing preferences e.g grid vs. list, the product information that is displayed differs. Grid view displays bigger product thumbnail images, and less item information whereas 'List view' will display the complete short description, the number of suppliers and the estimated price.

If you are in 'Grid' viewing mode, you have an additional option to view more information without having to navigate to the product's 'product detail' page. This is called 'Quick Look'. To access 'Quick Look', mouse-over any of the search results grids and you will notice that two icons appear in the top left. The first icon symbolising a magnifying glass is 'quick look', and the second is the 'add to clipboard' icon. If you click the 'quick look' icon, a new window will appear with the product information. This is a quick way to look at more information about a product, without having to leave the search results page. You can easily dismiss this window by clicking the 'close' button located in the top right of the window.

If you would like to view complete product information, simply click the image, or title of the product.

Where can I view more images of a product?

If you would like to see additional images for a product you can either visit the product's 'product detail' page or click on 'quick look' (in grid view). Beneath the primary image you will see smaller thumbnails, simply click on any of these and the larger image will change accordingly. Some images only have a single image.

Where can I view a product's suppliers details?

To view the relevant supplier information you will need to navigate to the product's 'product detail' page. Further down the page you will see a table titled 'Suppliers'. These are the suppliers listed on the AT Australia database for that particular product. To view information about this supplier click on the suppliers name. You will be presented with contact information, and also a Google Map. Google Street View is also available.

Where can I view a video of the product?

Assistive Technology Australia asks suppliers to come to the Blacktown Display to demonstrate their products, films the suppliers demonstrating their products, and also explores and trials the product's features themselves. The videos of these 'supplier demos' can be accessed from the product's 'product detail' page. If a product has a supplier demo, it will appear as a thumbnail next to the label 'Videos', alongside the image thumbnails. To view a video simply click the thumbnail, and the video will start playing. Please note you will need to have the latest version of flash installed to view these videos.
