Course Description

Two Units of Competency

The Home Modifications Course training program covers the knowledge and skills needed to achieve the units of competency.

  • CPPACC5016A – Provide expert access advice on renovations to private dwellings
  • CPPACC4020A – Provide access advice on building renovations

These units form part of CPP50711 (Diploma of Access Consulting) and CPP40811 (Certificate IV in Access Consulting) respectively.
Both units are nationally recognised and will provide you with future opportunities to complete Diploma or Cert IV level qualifications if you complete the assessment task.
Assessment is not compulsory. You will receive a Certificate of Attendance if you choose not to complete the assessment. Should you complete the assessment you will be awarded a nationally recognized Statement of Attainment.
The online training is generally delivered over four sessions within two consecutive weeks.
Support to complete the project and the assessment tasks will be provided throughout.

New Fee Structure from 2021

AT Australia has attempted to contain the costs of the Home Modifications course and as such has not reviewed this since 2015.
The costs of running the course have increased considerably over that time and although we wish to ensure the affordability of the course, supporting the work of allied health professionals, we now need to increase the cost for the current online course from $890.00 to $990.00 (inc GST).
To give the community of allied health professionals the time to plan and absorb this necessary change, this will take effect from 1 January 2021 and applies to the online delivery mode of the course.
Below is a summary including the new fee structure for both online and face-to-face delivery modes.

Online Delivery via Zoom
Cost per person: $990 including GST
Conditions: 4 half days over 2 weeks

Onsite, Face-to-face Delivery
